The Family Violence and Victim’s Services Program (FVVS) serves as the hub for all domestic violence and sexual assault issues on the Reservation. It is a comprehensive one-stop shop that provides and coordinates services that promote the safety, health and anonymity of domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their dependents.
FVVS
- Coordinates services between all Tribal agencies
- Drafts new laws
- Monitors the enforcement of such laws
- Provides in-service training
- Develops, implements and promotes community awareness activities regarding domestic violence and sexual assault.
FVVS is distinctive in that it has successfully combined a variety of family violence services under one roof that is confidential, comprehensive, and convenient for victims of abuse.
